Is it possible to mount a fender or light on the Spork 1.2 without using a 65mm bolt? It looks like the head of a standard 5mm can just fit through the rear of the Spork. Is it designed to do this?

There is no internal threading in the crown of any Spork, they are all designed for a through bolt. The 1.2 is counter sunk at the back for a flush mounted head of the bolt with the bolt threads protruding through the front of the fork and into the rack or headlight mount.
